The Annual Fund
The Prep's Annual Fund
- Closes the nearly 10% gap that is not covered by tuition and other revenue in the annual operating budget making tuition more affordable.
- Helps to maintain our building, our campus and our facilities.
- Supports our college prep curriculum and maintains our student to teacher ratio of 12:1.
- Helps everything from co-curricular opportunities focused on service, culture and ministry, to athletics, fine & performing arts, and more.
- In 2021-2022, contributions to The Annual Fund exceeded $1.9 million and gifts ranged in size from $10.00 to $100,000.00
Gifts to The Annual Fund are fully tax-deductible. - Gifts from our alumni, parents and friends to the Annual Fund helps The Prep to provide its talented and diverse students with everything they need to succeed. All donors to The Prep's Annual Fund receive a personal thank you from School President Msgr. Kelly and are recognized in the printed and online editions of our annual Honor Roll of Benefactors.
- Every dollar counts and helps SHP provide the best possible Catholic education for our talented and deserving young men.

Amplifying Your Gift Through A Match
You may be able to double the impact of your gift and it's easy to do! Many employers will match your gift or that of your spouse. Check with your employer to see if your company has a matching gift program or check the of previous matching gift donors to the Prep. Start by making your gift today and then contacting your HR office for the procedures on how to apply a matching gift to a qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit. Other Ways to Give
- Pledges are a great way to spread out your payments to The Prep over time. You can make pledges annually to SHP's Annual Fund and be reminded of your installments quarterly. You can also make longer term pledges to The Prep's major capital initiatives over a 3-5 year period for gifts of $10,000 and above.
- Planned Gifts are a powerful way to leave your legacy at The Prep, and in many cases, can help you take advantage of federal tax laws to create an income stream for you and your family now, while reducing the amount of taxes you would otherwise owe. If you prefer to make your gift to The Prep's Annual Fund by check, simply make your check payable to "萌妹社区" and mail to: The Advancement Office, 萌妹社区, 120 Northfield Avenue, West Orange, NJ 07052. You can also print and complete and include it in your envelope with your check. Our School President, Monsignor Kelly, will follow up with a thank you letter shortly therafter.
