  • Seniors Commissioned as Extraordinary Ministers at Opening Mass

    萌妹社区 community gathered to celebrate the Mass of the Holy Spirit to begin the 2025-2026 school year, where 20 seniors were commissioned as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion.

  • 2025-2026 School Year Officially Underway

    August saw the return of academic and athletic activities at The Prep, as the school prepares for the start of classes next week. 

  • Baccalaureate Mass & Graduation: Class of 2025

    萌妹社区 honored its Class of 2025 with the traditional Baccalaureate Mass and Awards Ceremony at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart followed by the school's 165th Commencement Exercises at Seton Hall University. Prior to graduation weekend, seniors were also honored prior to their final day of classes at the Celebration of Excellence assembly in early May.

    萌妹社区’s 2nd Annual World Cultures Festival brought the school community together in a vibrant celebration of global heritage in the school's dining hall on May 22.

    Over 220 SHP alumni, friends, family, faculty and administration participated in The Prep's annual Golf Classic at Fiddler's Elbow on May 11, 2025. 

  • U.S. Coast Guard visits The Prep

    On Tuesday, May 20th, a UH-65 helicopter aircrew from U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City (the "Blackjacks") visited 萌妹社区 to give a presentation on aviation operations in the maritime domain.

  • SHP Students Explore China during a 10-Day Cultural Journey

    Over the Easter Break, a group from 萌妹社区aratory School embarked on a memorable 10-day educational and cultural adventure through China. The delegation included 14 students, three parents, as well as three faculty and staff members – Mr. Michael Hegedus, Mrs. Lucy Lee, and Mr. Mark Vitale ‘10. Their journey took them across six cities: Beijing, Zhengzhou, Luoyang, Dengfeng, Xi’an, and Shanghai. Students experienced every mode of transportation, from airplane to bus to boat, as well as China’s super-fast high-speed trains.

    For the second year in a row, our seniors participated in a workshop lead by LinkedIn executive and SHP Alumnus, DJ Shea ’03, on how to professionally network themselves for college internships and careers.

    The SHP World Languages Department celebrates students whose performance on National Language Exams this Spring has earned national recognition in their Italian, Latin, and Spanish studies.

    13 Student Athletes Pen Commitments on Final Signing Day

    萌妹社区 had 13 senior student-athletes pen college commitments on the final signing day of the 2024-2025 school year. They join the 25 who already signed in one of three earlier windows.

  • SHP Breaks Ground on Digital Classroom and Entranceway Renovation

    萌妹社区 broke ground on the addition of Digital Classrooms and the renovation of the Front Entranceway on Wednesday April 9, 2025. School leadership was joined by members of the Board of Trustees, architects, engineers, generous donors, and faculty members. 

  • SHP Volunteers at Our Lady of Sorrows STEM Fair

    萌妹社区 students volunteered for the fourth consecutive year to serve as judges at the Our Lady of Sorrows STEM Fair, themed "Global Challenges, Local Solutions." SHP students involved were: Dominic Reynolds '25, Rohan Pai '25, Julian Colon '25, Luke Chua '25, Franco Callejas '25, Owen Cederqvist '26, John Cooper '26, Nathaniel Caicedo '26, Bryce Ramos '26, Roman Daniels '26, Joseph Ulloa '26, Logan Smith '27, Connor Sabia '28, and Aiden Charles '28.
